This demand was almost impossible to meet with regular Oxygen supplies running short. The lack of proper transportation methods also added to the crisis situation. Liquid Oxygen was the only way that this demand could be partially met.
Since liquid Oxygen is relatively easy to transport, it could be provided across the country seamlessly. Many hospitals in highly infected areas were also fitted with cryogenic systems so that they could produce liquid oxygen on-site.
India is one of the worst affected countries by the Covid-19 pandemic. It can be gauged that in the near future such crisis situations may arise again. With the help of the cryogenics industry, liquid medical Oxygen can become easily available to medical organizations big and small.
If we are to imagine an India that truly never falls short of Oxygen, cryogenics is the only way forward. With the help of cryogenic containers and other machinery, India can be made into a Covid-19-ready country where not a single person suffers from an Oxygen shortage.
