Auguste Cryogenics developed the stainless steel containers in this series from the ground up using state-of-the-art technology. They are specially designed for the safe and economical long-term storage of larger sample quantities and are therefore used in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals and research.

The vacuum-insulated products come with Auguste Cryogenics' GOLD-standard vacuum and offer a remarkably high storage capacity in a clear, smooth-running aluminum storage system on one level for the AC BIO series and two levels for the AC IVF series. The containers of both series are characterized by very low nitrogen consumption at a stable storage temperature, which almost reaches the cold level of liquid nitrogen even in the gas phase.

MDR

Function:

The cooling effect required for cryogenic sample storage is generated by the continuous evaporation of the liquid nitrogen refrigerant. The necessary heat of vaporization is extracted from the environment by heat transfer. As a result, the liquid nitrogen level in the deep-freeze storage tanks is constantly falling.

Regular, controlled refilling is therefore required (automatically or manually). This results in the liquid level curve shown here. In order to prevent unnecessary nitrogen losses and icing of the storage containers, liquid nitrogen should be refilled at pressures between 0.7 bar - 1.4 bar only.

The insulating properties of the Auguste Cryogenics Medical Family are essentially based on the presence of a vacuum between the inner and outer container. A vacuum loss inevitably leads to a very high increase in nitrogen consumption and poses a risk for the stored samples if there is no refill with liquid nitrogen.

2. CRYOFILL 2.0 PD WITH INSTALLATION ON A DEWAR, WITH MDR APPROVAL (MEDICAL DEVICE)

The CryoFill 2.0 is the next generation liquid nitrogen level controller with a number of improved and new features. As well as the ability to have a real time remote read out of relevant data via an alarming and/or monitoring system.

New features:

Larger, better and more user friendly 4.3” colour touchscreen display with a resolutions of 480x320
Real-time remote read out, compatible with several monitoring systems
One Fill All Fill filling sequence

New: One Fill All Fill (OFAF)

This is a feature for optimizing the filling sequence of multiple cryogenic storage vessels. The controllers are connected with each other using communication cables. The master controller will make sure all the vessels fill in succession, in order to minimize nitrogen consumption.

New: High temperature control

This is a new software feature for controlling the temperature in the neck of the vessel. This feature in intended for situation when work in performed in the neck and the lid is open for a longer period. In case the temperature in the neck starts to rise, the controller injects nitrogen into the vessel, which lowers the temperature in the top of the vessel.

The CryoFill 2.0 can be used for controlling the liquid nitrogen level for any storage type, either conventional gas phase or the so called “dry” gas phase, with an absolute separation between the samples and liquid nitrogen, or full liquid phase. The cooling effect required for cryogenic sample storage is generated by the continuous evaporation of the liquid nitrogen refrigerant. The necessary heat of vaporization is extracted from the environment by heat transfer. As a result, the liquid nitrogen level in the deep-freeze storage tanks is constantly falling.

Regular, controlled refilling is therefore required (automatically or manually). This results in the liquid level curve shown here. In order to prevent unnecessary nitrogen losses and icing of the storage containers, liquid nitrogen should be refilled at pressures between 0.7 bar - 1.4 bar only.

The insulating properties of the Auguste Cryogenics Medical Family are essentially based on the presence of a vacuum between the inner and outer container. A vacuum loss inevitably leads to a very high increase in nitrogen consumption and poses a risk for the stored samples if there is no refill with liquid nitrogen.

This is a new software feature for controlling the temperature in the neck of the vessel. This feature in intended for situation when work in performed in the neck and the lid is open for a longer period. In case the temperature in the neck starts to rise, the controller injects nitrogen into the vessel, which lowers the temperature in the top of the vessel.

The CryoFill 2.0 can be used for controlling the liquid nitrogen level for any storage type, either conventional gas phase or the so called “dry” gas phase, with an absolute separation between the samples and liquid nitrogen, or full liquid phase.
